Review of Take This Waltz (2011) by Nick M — 04 Dec 2012
So I love Sarah Polley but I feel like Take This Waltz was a bit of a misstep. It's a shame too because it starts really well-composed but the final act is so erratic that it undoes so much of the good will built up by till then.
That said Michelle Williams is fantastic (but she always is) and I enjoyed the beautiful cinematography. I just wish the film could've capitalized on its own potential.
