I was surprised just how much I took to this film. Michelle Williams turns in a highly nuanced, breathtaking performance that makes expert use of the broad palate of emotions required to dramatize a complicated 21st century romance.
And then there's Luke Kirby who knocked my socks off. What an absolutely remarkable breakthrough performance. MVP: Him.
