I can't decide if I want to call this a chick-flick or not. But I really appreciate how honest it is. Also it's refreshing to see a woman's perspective in an honest presentation. Not so many stories are honest about a woman's wants and needs in a relationship and that it can be equally as difficult for them to commit as it is for a man.

The way it portrays Lou as the husband, perfect job/house/attitude/wife, but unwilling or unaware that he needs to communicate or whatever it is that they needed. The shower scene with the old ladies was cute as well as powerful, every one gets bored.

It what you do once you are bored that makes a difference. What would happen if you broke the pensive silence in a marriage and decided to change your course? I don't know if I agree or disagree with Margot's decisions but I liked watching her explore the consequences of them.

In the end the message is there without anyone acknowledging it. Are people truly meant to be monogamous? are we all primal creatures when it comes down to it? Do other people feel something she just doesn't understand or she's lacking? There's no such thing as a "soul mate.
