Review of Take the Money and Run (1969) by Codie E — 17 Mar 2008
So funny. Allen's humour and intelligence is perfectly matched to the mockumentary setup of the film because it allows it to be episodic but keeps the continuity that lacked with other Allen straight comedies such as Everything You Always Wanted To Know.
Almost every joke is a hit and Allen the writer/director has to be praised for giving Allen the actor room to perform.
