Review of Take the Money and Run (1969) by Cory M — 13 Jun 2007
In the grand tradition of Chaplin, Sturges and Marx Brothers comedy. Allen is coming off a brilliant writing and standup career and just getting his feet wet in film. Its impact is a little lost today as the younger crowd have no idea about newsreels, but great sight gags and lots of fun nonetheless.
