Take Shelter is such a powerful drama, my eyes were glued from start to finish, the plot was so interesting and I had goosebumps developing in its conclusion. Michael Shannon gives a career best and proves why he's so talented.
Possibly one of the best performances i've seen from a lead actor, the plot where he questions his instincts and his apocalyptic visions is truly fascinating, scenes where he balances his family life and dreams at the same time is genius.
Beautiful film making. Take Shelter is a must watch and a clear example of a masterpiece.
