The absolute best film of 2011 and what I consider to be the second best film so far this decade. Jeff Nichols proves that "Shotgun Stories" was indeed the promise that we have a gifted filmmaker among us.
Michael Shannon's performance is flawless. David Wingo's score is subtly haunting.
