I tried not to laugh because I know people who believe in this things, that think the apocalyptic time would come and we must be prepared for the worst, to have our aid kits, a place to get shelter, etc.

(humans destroy themselves, we get that, but the end of the world? I just know it is when you die and we don't know even how or when will happen. The end only comes when you die, as simple as that).

Anyway, the acting was ok (have seen better of this cast before, including Michael, he did better as ZOD in Man of Steel for giving a recent example). The music was ok too and the CGI effects were "meh, ok".

Is not new, is a "maybe" new point of view from another perspective, but still is just a theme many have touched in the past in a more creative way (evil rain? Thanks to US, Japan got evil rain in the past for giving an example of a war issue, well, human vs.
