Review of Tag (2018) by Bob K — 24 Nov 2018
A strange mix of movies here. There are action sequences that are parodies of the Sherlock Holmes movies. There are other scenes of brotherly affection between the Taggers that shift the movie's tone entirely.
Then there's Isla Fisher and Hannibal Buress, who steal the show, in my opinion. She's a gorgeous lunatic who wants in on the game and plays harder than any of them, except possibly Jeremy Renner.
Buress is a dry wit, who got most of the best lines. A split personality movie that sometimes feels jumbled, but very likable characters and occasional laugh-out-loud physical comedy.
