Review of Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (2004) by Oliver C — 17 Apr 2008
Korean fraternity, love and sacrifice are explored amidst the backdrop of scenes of utter carnage, dismemberment, disembowelment and the grotesquery in a war commonly escaping notice in American cinema (excepting Mash).
Dong Kung Jang was fantastic as he sabotages all remnants of decency in a blind hatred of supposed perpetrators.
