Review of T2 Trainspotting (2017) by Cesar M — 26 May 2017
Very impressed with this film. As a fan of the original I am glad they kept it a close deep and personal character film and still showed us the grittines and bitter reality that is most of the time Instead of the classic Hollywood formula where the characters are all successful. Just enough nostalgia for the true fans but not too much.
to saturate it. Overall I felt like I was still watching an Indie flick by Danny Boyle. The humor is still there along with one or two wtf scenes keeping true to the shock value the original us. There is a touching and saddening science involving a family member that gits well. It's deeply layered and although it may not be a cult classic like the original I very very much enjoyed watching it.
