Review of T2 Trainspotting (2017) by Ade S — 01 Jul 2017
Not up to the visceral addiction of the prequel, but decent all the same. Begbie's still a psychopath with revenge on his mind, Renton's still Renton, without the drugs, Spud's still a bit slow, sickboy's doing well, and Diane's moved up in the world.
Some great scenes (the bar scene being a notable fave) but it turns into a Begbie vs Renton movie towards the end, and less about the 'gang'.
