Review of Synecdoche, New York (2008) by Rob S — 26 Feb 2010
This movie hurts....you hurt with every lonely, sad, depressing, sick feeling that Cadan experiences. You hurt as you try and understand what the hell has been going on, what is real, what is dream, what is play.
And in the end you understand that it did not matter, but you got there, you got to the end and it was good. Excellent performances by the cast and the imaginative take on life and dream that has made Kaufman's work so appealing in the past.
