Charlie Kaufman's directorial debut is a perplexing and imaginative exposition on death, solipsism, doppelgängers, the Cotard syndrome, the Capgras delusion, anima et cetera. So crowded are the themes of psychology, it requires repeated sessions to have a reasonable psychoanalysis.
