Review of Synecdoche, New York (2008) by Cool B — 30 Jan 2010
This movie was a complete waste of time. Rambling, inept, predictably neurotic, a languid attempt at profundity that force feeds the idea of a sort of nihilistic paralysis. This movie is pretty much about Kaufman's experience as himself making a movie.
.. the actual movie you're watching. Isn't the novelty of that played out yet? I guess not for a lot of people. I rarely give a review this bad, and that's because this movie didn't let me down, it pissed me off and gave me a headache.
To go from Eternal Sunshine to this?
