Review of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) by Pure Rock Fury — 04 Sep 2008
This film could have gotten better but after 40 minutes of what felt like nothing, I didn't care to find out. The events I did sit through failed to play out in any sort of realistic manner. Without going into detail, the few events I'm thinking of just were, but they didn't explain the how or why and the results felt unabashedly unrealistic.
For someone who chooses to view this film, I will refrain from exposing those in detail. I will say that I was disappointed after wholly enjoying "Oldboy".
