Review of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) by Evan J — 19 Aug 2008
A film that slowly and unrelentlessly spirals out of control. The film follows a series of characters that for one reason or another cannot see, hear or understand the whole story, they are all disconnected in some way and this disconnectedness leads them in all the wrong directions.
A movie not for the faint of hearted. Everything is seen, there is no hiding the terrible deeds of these people and that's what makes this film so amazing. Even after seeing these terrible deeds, these horrible mistakes, their bloody revenge, you still have sympathy for them.
