Chan Wook Park at his best. The man has a number of great films and very well may be one of the best directors working right now. Great acting all around in this amazingly well told revenge thriller. Ha-kyun Shin and Dun-na Bae are great as the ill fated couple in the story and Kang-ho Song is amazing as the dad out for vengeance.
I love how much Park makes you feel for the characters that he is not afraid to destroy. This is the first and my favorite of his vengeance trilogy and that is a bold statement because everyone knows how popular Oldboy is.
