I don't know if it's because I watched this so soon after the fantastic Oldboy but it was very disappointing. The first 50-60 mins were dull, then something just awful happens, then it gets boring again for another 40 mins and then the final 20 mins are an orgy of violence and torture with little coherence.
Ironically, looking at the title, there isn't a single sympathetic character that survives more than an hour. Poor show this time round, but Oldboy was good enough for me to give the director another chance.
