Review of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) by Alex E — 30 Oct 2010
An often harsh study of decisions gone wrong and moral ambiguity. No one escapes this story with a happy ending and nothing ends well. Despite a very heavy tone, the film is often so beautiful to look at you may forget the horror before you.
Not without it's flaws but so much better and so far reaching compared to 90% of everything else spoon fed to the masses.
