I've watched this 4 times now and it gets better and better with each watch. I can't explain exactly why I enjoy it, I just think it's fun, different and the music by Miles Davis is a very cool touch.

If you understand what Greaves was trying to do and the philosophy behind the film, it really is an amazing piece of art that is so simple and incredibly complex at the same time. Avant-garde film has never been made like this, and it is a shame that directors like Greaves and Stan Brakhage and others go widely unnoticed despite the wonderful art that they have created.

Kudos to Criterion for coming out with such a great DVD package.
