Review of Swordfish (2001) by Matthew B — 23 Dec 2009
As a matter of personal taste, I love movies that are generally structured like this one: You get wrapped up in the plot, and in the last few seconds you learn exactly how everything happened. The old reveal method works well with me.
However, Swordfish added on a confusing layer of who knows what...and it lost me. Apart from a really awesome opening scene and a thankfully simplistic explanation at the end of the movie, I had no idea what was going on.
Except sex and computer hacking; that was definitely going on.
