Review of Swiss Family Robinson (1960) by Scott S — 19 Aug 2009

Swiss Family Robinson (1960) -- [6.0] -- For a live-action Disney movie, this is as good as it gets... which is just okay, really. The first part of the movie is charming enough, as the Robinsons settle into their new island home and build their treehouse.

But the rest of the movie, with the two oldest boys fighting over a rescued girl and the family's struggle with pirates, becomes pretty ho-hum. You still get some nice scenery, animal action, and good (too) clean family fun.
