Swiss Family Robinson is just good old fashioned family fun in a way that Disney just canâ??t duplicate today (at least until Walt Disney returns from cryo-freezing). Itâ??s about an English speaking Swiss family that wrecks on an unknown deserted island with Zebras from Africa, Snakes from Burma, Tigers from India, and pirates from Japan (who also speak English).
They survive, build a life in the trees, and hope someday they will be rescued. Itâ??s an adventure about family and survival, even if unrealistic. It was still fun.
