Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Rebecca31 — 08 Oct 2016
I don't think I've ever been left this speechless after a movie...which makes writing a review rather difficult, but I'll try anyway. Paul Dano is stranded on an island, hopeless and alone but with the help of a corpse played by Daniel Radcliffe they go on an adventure.
Yes it's as weird as it sounds, and the movie does take some time out to acknowledge how weird it is and just when you think it can't get any weirder it does. Honestly I don't know if I liked it but I do know I liked both Radcliffe and Dano, together they give excellent performances.
It also got one genuine laugh from me along with countless other moments of awkward laughter. Recommended but if the idea of a farting corpse is off putting then maybe give this one a miss.
