Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Keith B — 18 Jul 2016
One must be prepared to parry the blows of what at first glance appear to be some adolescent hijinks (farts, erections, etc.), but the movie is much, much deeper than that... and a strange combination of melancholy, wistfulness, humor, and release.
It's difficult to say much more about potential "meaning" without potentially tossing a spoiler or two out there, but if one sticks with it, the ending pulls it all together in a way both poignant and to me at least, somewhat mysterious regarding what was actually "happening" all along.
Worth seeing.
