Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Conor O — 27 Sep 2016

Among the wave of remakes, reboots and continuations, this sure was refreshing. Swiss Army Man is as funny as it is absurd, though you will probably have to pull through the first 10-15 minutes before it starts growing on you.

While it has it's flaws, they're completely overshadowed by the sheer amount of creativity and inventiveness of Scheinert and Kwan (mostly known for the Turn Down For What music video) and also by the beautifully astounding cinematography and imagery.

Of all the movies from 2016 I've seen so far, this definitely is the strangest of them but it's also one of my personal favourites.
