After only a few minutes of "Swiss Army Man", I knew this would not simply be a "good" movie. I knew that it would either be something more than good, or something less than good. Throughout most of its runtime, the needle fluctuated wildly back and forth: less than good, more than good, and back again.
Where that needle would end up at the end of the film was uncertain. Despite the creativity of the filmmakers and the commitment of their lead actors, this film ultimately fails.
