Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Austin M — 12 Jun 2017
A movie with a reference to the relationship of a father and son. The father who is at first lost, no longer even content with life but through finding a dead person, who he must first care for and reteach the world to.
He finds himself and what life is about all over through the love of his new life finding it himself. Along with many inner realizations of his own insecurities through his new life. Ultimately it is played off as everything he teaches this new life about itself is actually himself which eccentuates how parents often push their own identity and sense of self on their children.
An absolute amazing look at ourselves with clever laughs.
