Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Rebecca P — 02 Sep 2017
A strangely poignant film about a farting corpse. Despite the subject matter it's a surprisingly beautiful film with great cinematography, soundtrack and solid performances from Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe.
I found myself completed captivated by it, actually getting sucked into this strange friendship between a man lost in the wilderness and a corpse before the farting started again and I questioned what the hell I was watching.
It's probably not to everybody's taste, it draws an odd line between humour and drama but whether you like it or not you'll never have seen a film like it before and that is rather rare in cinema these days.
