Review of Swimming with Sharks (1994) by Dawn N — 15 Jan 2008
Largely overlooked, this film does a better and darker job of satarizing Hollywood than The Player. It features Kevin Spacey and Benicio del Toro, just before they got famous. Spacey plays the character of a greedy, power-hungry and evil studio executive.
His protege and torture subject is played very well by Frank Whaley. If you've ever been disgruntled in your job, watch this film to see someone else really get even - or not.
