AHHHHHHHHHH! Undiluted passion, anger, and ambition thrown on the screen in a frenzy of experimental, psyched-out, low-budget-as-hell images. Flaws go with the no-money territory, but put this in its proper context and the sheer force and guile make it impossible to resist.
Peebles filmed a hallucination of a movement, and created a landmark piece of American cinema.
