Gold. My favorite film. Like bad guys? You can't beat Hunsecker and Falco. The dialogue -- I can't believe one man could write this many slick exchanges and keep it all within the boundaries of 'brilliant'.
The kind of movie that will be badly remade someday. You can't pull this one off a second time. Lancaster and Curtis are at the top of their game here,and so is the supporting cast and crew. Race out and BUY it, knocking over an old lady with a cane on your way out the door.
