When Curtis states that "I'd hate to take a bite outta you, you're a cookie filled with arsenic" you could almost say he's saying the same thing about this wildly cynical film.
I notice someone below calling this "an orgasm on film" and I'm going to second that.
On top of the great writing, acting and directing, we're treated to superb James Wong Howe B&W cinematography, and a killer jazz score by Elmer Bernstein.
