"I love this Dirty Town" What an unsung gem this really is because this a masterpiece of the highest sort. Majestic photography combined with Bernsteins sassy jazz soundtrack act as a wonderful base for one of the most fascinating and distorted images of New York City I have ever seen.
Lancaster and Curtis are heavyweights and their chilling tactics make a latter day pairing such as Douglas and Sheen in Wall Street look like Sutty and Sweep. Received no oscar nods for its time, which is shambolic! (5 stars).
