Review of Sweet Smell of Success (1957) by Steve N — 07 Jan 2008
This is my second time seeing this. The first was a while ago and I wasn't really focused on it, so I didn't really understand a lot of what was going on. Well, it was much better this time around, but it still requires a lot of attention in order to follow it.
The script is very smart and the actors are amazing in it. The look and feel of the movie is awesome, and Bernstein's score is like the coolest thing ever, it's just so suave. I also loved the ending.
I guess I'll have to see this one again.
