Review of Sweet Smell of Success (1957) by Artur C — 17 Dec 2010
Burt Lacaster and Tony Curtis play two slimey sleaseballs in the world of New Your publishing both trying to separate true love for their own nefarious desires. Sharp rat-a-tat dialog keeps it moving, but the sheer unlikeableness of all the characters (including the swoony girl ) makes it hard work at times.
