Review of Sweet Smell of Success (1957) by Michele P — 02 Jan 2011
Film noir doesn get much better than this..a pleasant break from all the noir movies of the fifty involving crime, murder etc..
A press agent tony curtis looking to gain the favour of well known columnist jj hunsucker agress to break off the relationship between hunsucker's beloved sister and a little known jazz performer..
The harsh realities of the scoiety's elite during the 1950's is well portrayed with excellent use of sarcasm.
