Filled with excellent acting and great singing, this well directed dark musical is strengthened by excellent art direction and a touch of Tim burton to ensure that is Sickly adaptation of a popular musical is few steps beyond fun.

Johnny Depp is spectacular, dark and deceiptful, yet handsome and massively talented as a singer. Helena Bonham carter is twisted and dark, yet incredibly sexy as the cannibalistic baker. The other characters provide further support, and along with the excellent costumes and makeup to enhance the creativity to no extent, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet creates a dark atmosphere that never really scares but becomes fun and has a soundtrack that will all to easily get stuck in your head.
