Review of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) by Callan D — 18 Dec 2017

Sweeney Todd is story about a barber falsely shipped off to prison by a lawyer who loves his wife based off of a musical. Tim Burton does a great job staging this to make it just like a musical and Johnny Depp gives an amazing performance playing the barber who's out for revenge and was perfect for the role.

This does contain quite an amount of grossness and blood and could be slightly disturbing, but overall, this musical turned into a film gives spectacular music and choreography which gives it exactly what it needs.
