Going to the theaters to watch this film without the knowledge that it was a musical, can raise questions like, "when is the opening singing scene going to end?", and create some surprising humor.
In the end, thoroughly impressed with the dark storyline, as well as, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter's performances.
