Review of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) by Joe M — 16 Feb 2013
It's fun, dark, dreary, violent and very Tim Burton-like. Some of the singing is bloody awful at times, but when the rest of it works so well the bad cockney accent singing almost adds to it's charm, plus the songs are really catchy, so that helps.
This is one of those films that has obvious flaws, but I've still watched it a stupid amount of times and I still enjoy it.
