Review of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) by Stephanie G — 01 May 2013

I saw the show on a London stage in 1994, & fell in love with it. So when this movie came out with Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd, I was thrilled...& the movie did not disappoint! The only thing I missed was the title song "THE TALE OF SWEENEY TODD" at the very beginning.

I'm not sure why it was left out, as it truly sets the tone for the rest of the story. Oh well, it was still an amazing movie without it!
