This macabre adaptation of the beloved stage musical couldn't be better! Tim Burton's vision is perfectly suited for the story and the relentless buckets of gore and throat-slashing are in a way oddly beautiful.
Johnny Depp pulls through and can actually belt out a tune. Who knew?! For horror fans and music fans alike, this is one hell of an entertaining movie.
