Review of S.W.A.T. (2003) by Ville I — 30 Aug 2008
Surprisingly entertaining piece that keeps a good pace and doesn't take itself too seriously. The filmmakers were going for a BayHem approach, which they don't quite pull off, plus there are some Limp Bizkit songs played during the film. Colin Farrell acts all dozed off.
Still in the end you have Sam Jackson chasing down a Learjet with a limo on a bridge while his Dr. Pepper-drinkin' hard-talkin', equal-opportunity crew blast away with automatic weapons, so it ain't all bad.
