Review of Suspiria (1977) by Don S — 16 May 2014
Director Dario Argento is a horror genre giant, but this is more an acid trip than a horror movie. The score is overly loud and obnoxious, causing feelings of anger and annoyance instead of tension. The acting is below average, and the effects mostly consist of colored lighting to go along with the not spooky score.
A rather tame, lame witchcraft story that is not scary in the least.
