Review of Suspiria (1977) by Julio D — 28 Apr 2013

I'm torn when it comes to reviewing Suspiria; on one hand it has an unconventional script, an eerie background score and few creepy scenes, but on the other hand, it fails to scare me thoroughly. I understand that this movie was made in the 70's, but considering The Shining also came out in 1980 (only three years difference), I can't give Suspiria the benefit of the era. Aside from it, I had fun watching it - to put it in a sentence, Suspiria is one freaky movie which any horror fans should take a look at.
