Review of Suspiria (1977) by Lyric B — 27 Sep 2010
"Dammit Janet!" Seems like Jessica Harper has another spooky cult classic under her belt. However, unlike SHOCK TREATMENT, she doesn't belt out awesome 80's musical hits. Instead, Harper plays a young girl who is attending a prestigious ballet school in Germany that happens to be run by murderous witches.
Thrills and chills ensue in a typical 70's chiller style. This isn't a bad cult film, but it's no SHOCK TREATMENT or TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE either.
