Review of Suspiria (1977) by Jason J — 04 Oct 2012
An absolute masterpiece in terror set at a ballet academy in Germany in which the newcomer pupil Sarah finds out about the dark secrets that hide within the school! It's probably Dario Argento's most famous movie.
Very stylish, fantastic use of colours (the visuals in this movie is amazing) with an fantastic soundtrack by The Goblins which adds to the mood. As the story progresses it cranks the suspense and dread with some nasty deaths.
I loved how the blind pianist got killed by his own guide dog who rips out his throat! It builds up to a intense, nail biting finale. If you haven't seen Suspiria before then you're missing out on an incredible experience.
A true classic horror movie!
