Review of Suspiria (1977) by Kieran F — 10 Jan 2014
Another pure master piece by Argento. The film follows American ballet student Suzy Bannion (Harper) who transfers to a prestigious dance academy in Germany, only to discover that it is controlled by a coven of witches and it's just beautiful to watch.
not only cause the subject matter has some impressive scenes but like most of his films the way in which he achieves the shots is just beautiful. I literally could sit and just watch his films for hours with no sound and still be amazed and amused.
I will say too when this film was over I asked myself the same question I did when I first played Prince of PErsia on PS3. "Was it all just a dream?".
